Guys like this have me convinced: the harder they try to appear "alpha," the more mentally deficient they must be. If you run into someone who identifies as "alpha male," best to stay away from them.

shareMy point is, if a guy has to go around trying to convince people he's an alpha male, then he must have low self esteem. Example: picking fights with teenage girls on twitter.

shareI agree with your point. That would make such an individual a fake alpha male then, in my opinion.
The way I see it, a (real) alpha man would not feel the need to claim being one to boost his ego and prove to others he's dominant.
