Ron DeSantis: "Florida will not assist in an extradition request"
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, considered one of Trump's biggest rivals in the 2024 race, issued a statement condemning the indictment as "un-American," but also said "Florida will not assist in an extradition request."
His statement in full:

"The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head.
It is un-American.
The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent.
Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda."

Too bad. Federal law says the governor must give up any person who is demanded by another state. DeSantis can't make Disney bend, what makes anyone think he can refuse New York?

Whenever the executive authority of any State or Territory demands any person as a fugitive from justice, of the executive authority of any State, District, or Territory to which such person has fled, and produces a copy of an indictment found or an affidavit made before a magistrate of any State or Territory, charging the person demanded with having committed treason, felony, or other crime, certified as authentic by the governor or chief magistrate of the State or Territory from whence the person so charged has fled, the executive authority of the State, District, or Territory to which such person has fled shall cause him to be arrested and secured, and notify the executive authority making such demand, or the agent of such authority appointed to receive the fugitive, and shall cause the fugitive to be delivered to such agent when he shall appear. If no such agent appears within thirty days from the time of the arrest, the prisoner may be discharged.

Good, the charges are 100% politically motivated, not to mention biased and flimsy at best. It’s beyond obvious that the far left death cult is weaponizing the criminal justice system against their political opponents. The AG literally ran on prosecuting Trump, at the time he didn’t know what for, but he was going to get him.

And your cult are the ones who refuse to enforce federal immigration law and are allowing violent criminals out of prison so I’m not sure how much moral authority your cult has in this case.

The NY Attorney General is Letitia James, a woman. The Manhattan District Attorney is Alvin Bragg, a man.

I was referring to Alvin Bragg, and Wikipedia most definitely leans left. They described Trumps claims about the 2020 election to be “conspiracy theories” yet didn’t do the same to the 2016 claims the DemoKKKrats made even though they are demonstrably false. They described Fox News as “conservative” yet didn’t describe CNN or MSDNC as “liberal” the last time I checked. They also described the J6 protestors as a “mob” yet described BLM as a “social movement”. Not to mention anyone can just submit whatever they want.

All I did was change the word “conspiracy theories” to “claims” and in a matter of minutes it had reverted. It leans left, face it.

It wasn’t on that page, it was on a documentary on the 2020 election that said it was about the Trump “conspiracy theories”. All I did was change “conspiracy theories” to “claims” (which is also true) and it was back to “conspiracy theories” in a matter of minutes and I got a PM telling me to stop “vandalizing” the site.

The Wikipedia page for “Absolute Proof”. It says it promotes the Donald Trump Conspiracy Theories that the election was stolen. In order for it to be labeled a “conspiracy theory” they would have to know it wasn’t stolen which they don’t. I changed “conspiracy theory” to “claim” (which doesn’t say the election was stolen) and it was reverted in a matter of minutes and I got a warning that my IP address would be blocked if I kept “vandalizing” the site.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absolute_Proof does not contain the phrase "conspiracy theories" except at the bottom of the page in the categories section. Which paragraph did you edit?

The first paragraph of the page does read;

Absolute Proof is a 2021 political film directed by and starring Mike Lindell. It was distributed by One America News Network and promotes the conspiracy theory that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election instead of Joe Biden.

It’s in the second sentence. I changed it to the “promotes the claim that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election instead of Joe Biden”. Within minutes it was reverted. I guess if you are going to post on Wikipedia one of the prerequisites is that you have to hate Donald Trump
