Set 15 years after the Rise of Skywalker and she's a Jedi Master apparently without any formal proper training, like Luke had with Yoda (partially). Sure she got trained a bit by Leia but she was no Jedi. Then again, she did float her carcass back onto mon calamari cruiser so meh who knows. Doubt she'd need any training though since she already could defeat most of everyone without it.

Instead of Luke rebuilding the Jedi Order it will be Rey, lawl. Only she can do it. After the Return of the Jedi, Luke just went off to some distant planet to become a hermit because the Ewok's grossed him out and he got tired of seeing Leia and Han.
