Maybe they're just using Daisy's name as clickbait or trying to stir something. I adore Daisy, but I really can't get behind this. She just doesn't have enough films on her resume to even be considered as a new member for the Academy. I'm sure she'll have plenty of opportunity when she meets the criteria.

Because Oscar Isacc is a Shakespearean Actor who has been in hundreds of top movies.
Boyega has been in a few as well.
Force Awakens was Daisy's first real big movie, well, seem you already said it yourself lol

Because... She will win an Oscar :)
TFA was her first movie.In the future she will can be member, but is not so important. I hope she win.

To be fair, she had just begun taking acting seriously with The Force Awakens. In time, she will get to be a part of the Academy.
