Can Daisy play a convincing villian?

Or will she be typcast due to being in such a prominent role that audiences will only see her as a goody two shoes. Nothing wrong with it, since I can't see Sandra Bullock or Julia Roberts playing bad girls well.

Just wondering if she has the range to shake the public's perception.

A good actor can play any part. Check out Michelle Dockery in "Good Behavior". You'd NEVER think she played Lady Mary in Downton Abbey for all those seasons.

Carrie and Debbie, may the force be with you both, together for all eternity. RIP, amazing ladies...

Then those so called Oscar winners like Bullock, Roberts, Emma Thompson, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lawrence just aren't good actors because I can't see them playing antagonist well or is it more due to their high profile - which becomes stuck in people's perception? Or maybe some actresses just have a snotty face and can convincly play a villian well.

That's the downside to leading such a high commercial film. It will be hard to shake the character of Rey and I hope Daisy can do that.

Sandra Bullock played a villain in Despicable Me and Julia Roberts portrays self-absorbed, arrogant characters extremely well, so I think she could play a "villain".

I don't think I've seen enough of Daisy's acting to decide whether she could be a "villain" or not. I guess it also depends what type of villain.
