Wednesday fans keep confusing actress with character. It's very obvious at this point that Ortega is very bland, boring and forgettable actress. It was Wednesday character that shined. But Ortega can't find those type of well written characters every time.

So like many other - she will be "actor of one role" and will vanish after hype for Wednesday will die down. One bad season is enough to do that. Stranger Things actors basically vanished. Only Millie Bon Jovi still tries with her Netflix movies. Same with Game of Throns actors.

"Jamie" actor just vanished after it ended. Overnight.

Keep in mind almost every Oscar winning actress since 1970 has been nude in one or more roles.

If she commits to that in the right role, she has a chance.

I don't know why she'd bother. Getting an Oscar these days is a worthless endeavor, particularly since the awards are rigged anyway. All you have to do is suck up to the right people in the Academy (which is a club of older, very snooty Hollywood elite) and your award is in the bag; doesn't matter if you actually deserve it.

I like her but no I don't think she will.

She needs more seasoning.

I like Ortega, but nothing I've seen makes me think she will.
