Great generalization of less than 0.01% of fans.
You and all the media cannot distinguish between dickhead trolls who will just trash anyone and anything and actual criticism from real dedicated fans who love whatever they are fans of, we are not just talking Star Wars.
Well i'm sorry but grow up. Criticism comes in all forms and sometimes it is brutally honest and can be hurtful but it is still criticism.
I'm sick to death of being called a popular ism or sexist or racist because i don't like said movie or actor. It's the modern lazy way to attack people who do not like your work. It's like you are not allowed to criticise anymore, you can only praise. We are meant to just tow the line and love whatever Disney throws out but i'm sorry it doesn't work like that.
When you start using words like bullying and harassment it takes away from what those words really mean and does a disservice to people who are really dealing with bullying and harassment. It is the same when vegans call milking cows "sexual assault" it takes away from men and woman who are dealing with sexual assault.
Sorry, i digress i got wound up earlier so i apologise in advance, none of this is aimed at you personally, i'm just tired of fans being generalized and described as all the words you put above. Fans are none of those, they just dispise what has happened to there beloved Star Wars and i'm one of them.
The internet will always have trolls, dickheads and assholes, that will never change. But these people are not fans. Toxic fans is media driven nonsense. Fans will praise when good and criticise when bad but they are still fans, you cannot have only fans that praise. Criticism is a good thing, without it you cannot learn, you cannot get better.
Star Wars fans kept this franchise alive and relevant for 40 years. Orginal trilogy toys and collectibles walk off the shelves atevery comic con, Disney trilogy toys sit and gather dust. Disney and it's cronies are the ones destroying it.
