The man ahead of me was talking on his phone, facing me while his conversation led him to say out loud: "[expletive] A, are you [expletive]ing me?! I have a child? I have a [expletive]ing child in this world? Is it a boy? Holy [expletive]!
Since he was practically shouting these words out loud in a public setting while standing face to face with me not more than three feet away, I felt compelled to respond by uttering a tepid: "Congratulations."
His face instantly turned sour, and he scowled as if to say: "How dare you encroach upon my private affairs!"
I don't know why I just remembered that experience. People can just be rude sometimes, am I right?

Not really sure what you're asking either but I have to say I was prepared to hate (or at least be pretty annoyed by) the character of Rose but she completely won me over by the last act and I can't wait to see how her story plays out in the next movie.

Sigh I hate myself for responding since it's clear you're a troll but YOU were the one that said she took this for the money and the hype and her decision had nothing to do with creative decisions. YOU were the one being cynical of her since the definition of cynical is: believing that people are motivated by self-interest; distrustful of human sincerity or integrity, or: concerned only with one's own interests and typically disregarding accepted or appropriate standards in order to achieve them.
My comment conveyed that she's an actress and if she was doing a job for the money there was nothing wrong with that. We all need money to live and that's the reason I do my job. There was nothing cynical about my statement. My statement WAS being sarcastic however and if that was lost on you I apologize. It should've been clear to the average person that I was being sarcastic (the "haha" at the beginning of my statement followed by "the nerve" at the end are key indicators)but I'll be sure to put on training wheels for any further conversations with you if you are incapable of grasping the subtle nuances of sarcasm.
Now go ahead and do your troll thing and call me a dummy or an idiot without providing any well thought out argument or rebuttal. You've riled up so many people with your demeaning post about this actress, how proud you must be.

Your OP was “Why? Just, why? Prolly won't be selling many action figures. Take that to the bank.” Since you wouldn’t expand even upon the requests of others we are only left to piece together ourselves exactly what you meant, but it is clear that it was not a positive post toward this actress.
I wouldn’t use the term butthurt, it’s beneath me. Also I think the term riled up and butthurt are significantly different but if you want to use it as a synonym for riled up, makes no difference to me…..a troll will do what a troll will do.

This is the Kellie Marie Tran page on Moviechat so the fact that your headline is “The Last Jedi” doesn’t change the fact the post is about her. When someone asked what you were talking about with your vague post, you refused to explain dismissing them as too dumb to understand. Not sure how you’re calling me pompous when you talk to people you’ve never met like that. Perhaps look in the mirror.
I’m not uneducated but the level of schooling I’ve achieved is irrelevant because if there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s that plenty of unintelligent people graduate college and plenty of rather smart people don’t. For example I’ve graduated from college but I’m clearly not smart because no truly smart person would waste time conversing with someone such as yourself who thinks the anonymity provided by an internet message board is justification for calling others dummy or idiot (which quite fankly comes off as cowardly).
But even though I admit that I’m an idiot for wasting time with you, I’m at least an idiot capable of learning (slow though it may be). Like I’m learning that this really isn’t worth my time and will be my last post to you. You are welcome to the last word in this discussion as I’m out.

Yeah there's nothing really new here to make a decent figure of, other than the Prateorian Guard design. A Rose figure? Eh. Another Kylo? Another Rey in the same clothes as the end of the previous movie? Another Luke in the same clothes? Oh I guess they could do the "final battle" Luke. And Flashback Luke, complete with conflicted decision action! Don't forget... Jedi Pupil Ben.
Oh... A SPACE LEIA FIGURE! That would sell, actually. Make it a Christmas ornament hanging on a string.
