It's been a common phrase for a while now. My understanding of it is that it decsribes a particular form of bigotry that specifically affects Black women. It's not simply the case of being a victim of racism plus sexism, which Black women already have to contend with, but, as far as I understand, a particular racism directed towards Black women from individuals who don't despise Black men or white women to the same degree. Think about the particular hate directed at Michelle Obama (to an even greater degree than her husband) and Kamala Harris, among other Black women (particular Black athletes and other Black women in the public eye). Even Black men and white women don't experience that level of hate. In the UK, for instance, Black female MP, Diane Abbott, gets more hate mail than all the other MPs in Parliament combined.

Racism and misogyny are the terms we used before that and are still suitable to use today...

Those terms haven't been replaced. They're still used. This is a refrence to a specific form of racism/a specific form of misogyny.

But yeah, as described above, it sounds like an unnecessary b.s. term.

Didn't they make changes a few years ago to have more black voters for the academy awards? So have they all got 'internalized' racism?
Or maybe Andrea Riseborough was just really really good?

It has long been established that the awards are not actually based on performance, but rather what will be the most publicly well received. Do you really think it was a coincidence that the year after the "oscars too white" movement, the number of black nominees skyrocketed? Heck, even white actors that are aging but never won suddenly get awarded for average performances. It's also well known that voters often don't even watch the movies, they just vote the way the tide is going. Oscars are a long standing joke.

Exactly, and the majority of people interested in theater are white too. Whites should be able to cry racism to the NBA, by Hollywood standards. Certain cultures are more likely drawn to certain things, but liberals force themselves to play dumb to facts.
