GoT really lucked out on Sophie Turner

Rewatching Season 1, most people comment on how pretty Sansa is. Imagine now 4/5 years later if puberty didn't treat Sophie Turner that well and she somehow became unattractive as she grew older. Awkward for the show, given how Sansa's traded around for marriage based on her looks and lineage. As much as I love Lena Headey's Cersei, I find it a bit of a stretch when they refer to her as the most beautiful woman in Westeros, but whenever anyone calls Sansa pretty it's most definitely justified.

You mean like the actor that played Bran? He want from cute little kid to awkward looking teen real quick. Sophie Turner is a beauty though.

Sophie was how old when GoT filming began? 14? The rate at which girls physically mature these days, her casting really wasn't that big of a gamble. The only difference between her now from then is that she looks much more womanly. Cercei is far from the most beautiful woman in Westeros.

She's indeed stunning and a lovely actress, but tbh I think she's matured a bit too much in appearance to pull off the super-feminine, relatively innocent Sansa now. Sansa may be getting stronger and more empowered, but she still gets victimized by a lot of people, and Sophie Turner has a deep voice and a strong, athletic build that makes her seem capable of holding her own against Ramsay.

I think Sophie Turner was a great fit for the character (physically) in previous season, but this season I've had trouble seeing her as a helpless victim, especially during the rape scene. She towers over Ramsey and looks like she could beat up Theon.

I do like Sansa but anyone could beat up Theon at this point.
