Why she wasn't on Conan?

He had a bunch of the cast from X-Men: Apocalypse on, but she wasn't there to promote it. She was there for the Games of Thrones episode of Conan.

I think you pretty much answered your own questions. They probably didn't thought it would be necessary for her to go to Conan two times.

Besides, they clearly preferred to bring more established actors from X-Men to Conan. Tye Sheridan wasn't there either.

Olivia Munn was on there. Sophie Turner has to be a more established actress than her. I have no clue who the guy playing Apocalypse even is.

Olivia Munn is much older than Sophie and also a very established media person. So it makes sense that she would be on Conan. She probably feels more at home in a show like that than in a movie set.

Oscar Isaac is an acclaimed actor who got a lot of praise for his performances in movies like Inside Llewyn Davis and he is also part of the main cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. Not forgetting that he plays the main villain of this movie. So of course it makes sense for him to be there.

Shouldn't Jean Grey be one of the main characters also? I haven't actually heard much about the movie yet, but I would think Jean Grey would have a major role in this movie. I could see her not wanting to go if it was out of the way, but she was already at Comic Con for both GoT Conan and the GoT panel. I would think they'd want to take advantage of her GoT celebrity to help promote the movie.

No, I think that Jean Grey is going to be a supporting character who is mainly going to be introduced in this movie. The main characters are probably continuing to be the ones from Days of Future Past.

But I could imagine this being a handover-scenario, where Jean Grey and the other young characters are going to be become much more important in future movies. Since many of ther older actors like Hugh Jackman are already leaving the franchise.

That's too bad. I figured if she was playing Jean Grey she'd have a big part. I know Days of Future's Past changed some things regarding what happened in Last Stand, but I figured the back story on Jean Grey atleast up to the point of her being massively powerful when Erik and Charles first found her would be the same. I figured Supercharged Jean Grey would play a major role in the fight with Apocalypse before Charles locked away some of her power.

Yeah, who knows? Maybe she is going to have some importance to the plot. But I doubt that she is going to have that much screentime. For me it sounds more like they are mainly preparing the younger cast for future movies. I could be wrong though.

Maybe that's true. I wonder if that means Mystique is going to have a relatively small part as well. I completely forgot about Jennifer Lawrence, who wasn't there either even though she was on Conan for Hunger Games.

I'm just really hoping that the movie is good. I've wanted an Apocalypse movie ever since the first X-Men movie came out(Although I was hoping it would be the older team fighting him). I don't remember if Fantastic Four or Spider-Man were in the same continuity as X-Men, but I was hoping they'd show up as well and it would be one huge cross-over movie. Even back in the 90s cartoon, Apocalypse always seemed like an enemy too big for just the X-Men. So, they'd have to join forces both with old friends and old enemies in order to take him down.
