Painful To Watch In X-Men Apocalypse...

Don't get me wrong a very beautiful woman, but I found her acting and delivery of her lines in certain scenes. Almost unbearable to watch, especially in the bedroom scene when she talks about the bad dream with Xavier.

Perhaps it's because she still new to the world of acting I don't know or poor casting choice or bad direction... However I felt she was overshadowed in her lines, delivery and emotion by a lot of the more centred actors/actresses in the film. I'm sure she will improve as time goes on, but I felt it was a miscasting in X-Men.

I get the feeling that acting ability is far from a priority in super hero films, from what I've seen. Even great actors like Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie in those super hero films they're in whatever they're called, people I live with watch them and I see bits and it makes me cringe man. These are great actors but the dialogue is terrible, and as I was saying acting ability does not seem to be a priority, quite so much as the blatantly obvious first and foremost priority which is money.

Now I understand that movie making is a business, and the objective of any film, particularly from the studios point of view is for the film to make a profit.. however, certain kinds of films seem to put so much focus and energy into making as huge a profit as possible, I'd speculate not only for financial success but also for bragging rights, that it has a detrimental affect on the quality of the film.

Now where I'm going with this is that I do believe Sophie Turner was miscast. Have I seen the film? No. Does it matter? Not really. I believe she was miscast because she is a relatively inexperienced British actress, playing an American I believe? She is not a great actress. I don't mean to insult or be mean or whatever, I'm merely being honest and I must stress that it is a huge thing to be a great actor or actress.. not many her age really are. She has improved so much throughout the six seasons of Game of Thrones so far, I might even go so far as to call her most improved. She's very good, and I believe she has the potential to be great. Now, I believe that whoever decided to cast Sophie Turner knew that she was relatively miscast but they went ahead anyway why? Money. She has a huge fanbase from Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones is fuccin' huge man hey I don't have to tell you that. Huge fanbase, get a major Game of Thrones actor in a major role in a major motion picture right now and you get another sales boost.

So there it is, like I said.. super hero films tend to hold money as such a priority that it has a detrimental effect on the overall quality of the film.

I didn't find her hard to watch, but she was hard to hear. An atrocious American accent. I hope she gets a good voice coach before the next film.

I guess you all are not true comic book fans, and that's fine.
But, the truth is, Sophie Turner played the part of Jean better than anyone else could have. In fact, she played her so well, you would have thought the comics were written AFTER Sophie portrayed her.

Yeah her acting was bad.

Lose the Game!!!!!!!

Or maybe she could skip that unnecessary american accent and just speak english...that might work too...just weird to change how she speaks when it´s perfectly fine in original....
