I think it was postponed because other actors in the film had other filming commitments, so with the initial delay, they couldn't get it done in time. O'Brien himself is filming another movie later in the summer / early fall. (American Assassin). Also, it's rumored that the lead actress is pregnant, and also couldn't continue filming after a certain date. It mostly has to do with scheduling which can get complicated with such a large cast and crew.
