Is it because he's busy shooting another film? Are they already shooting the next Maze Runner? He's the best talent on the show, so it was really smart to make it all about him while he's not there. I would've totally quit watching if he were gone. Although, I do like Malia (sp?) a lot.

He got hurt filming the death cure, so that's why he wasn't in season 6a much

And he was filming American Assassin after he recovered from his injuries.
