It's why the 'nude hacking scandal' really was not such a big deal for manny of the A-listers. They were classy enough to be classy in their picture taking. Jennifer Lawrence has many nude pictures but because she's a classy girl, all her photos were classy. it's the same case for a huge majority of the A-listers.

I'm not aware of the existence of any such pictures of JBF. Perhaps you have a more extensive "Fappening" archive than I do, but I have not seen any pictures or videos like you describe above -- not of JBF, at least.

While I agree that those types of images are dèclassè, I don't think it's necessarily fair to condemn any girl in possession of them. After all, the husband or boyfriend may have requested, even begged for, pictures or videos of that nature. It's definitely not my bag, nor does it seem to be yours, but I do believe one can still be a "nice girl" and have all manner of naughty photos for very private use. Having those photos/videos stored online in any way when one is a celebrity is poor judgement in the extreme, but does not necessarily condemn the character of the girl in the photos.

Incidentally, a lot of young "A-list" actresses in recent years have been photographed (albeit by literal gutter-dwellers) from beneath without anything on under their dresses. One could, using the same standards, also call that "crude."

I have no idea what he's talking about. You see her naked but not like that. And frankly I don't see how showing your boyfriend any sort of nude or sexy photos is skanky. She doesn't sleep around: she has a steady partner and this was for him. There's nothing skanky about that.

And when they were made she was not really a celebrity. She was known from one British TV show but said she could walk around New York without anyone having any idea who she was. How was she to know hackers were trying to get into her private icloud account? She didn't think she had anything worth stealing.

Jennifer Lawrence is a huge celebrity so I am far more surprised that she had them. I'd think she had an assistant to deal with that stuff. But she's young like JBF and they were supposed to be private. It's wrong to condemn them when they weren't the ones at fault.

The photos and videos were definitely more revealing and more sexual than the stuff stolen from the other celebrities, and JBF was well known by that point. Even if you discount the other work she's done, Downton Abbey itself is a big deal and has a huge audience.

I think that any young actress or model should be cognizant of the fact that there are people who WILL try to steal their private data. They don't have to be A-list, J-Law types to draw the attention of pervs. Once you're a public figure, you have to assume you are not going to fly below the radar.

That means not trusting cloud services, not blindly believing that a personal device like a phone is impenetrable, and most of all, not trusting significant others with that kind of material. Unfortunately, relationships change, and although iCloud was the culprit in this case, the majority of cases involve vindictive exes leaking the photos out.

With all that said, she is definitely a talented actress and I hope she recovers from the whole Fappening scandal.

Of course she should have been more cognizant of it. I imagine she is kicking herself for it. But again, it's wrong to condemn her or call her skanky. Sure, the stuff stolen was more sexual than what was stolen from Lawrence but that doesn't mean she has more sex than other women or something. She just happened to have her more private stuff out there to be stolen.

And from what I understand Kate Upton had something graphic stolen but I haven't seen it nor do I care. It's not my business.

As far as recovering, she is working but more publicity-shy than before which is understandable and IMO unfortunate.

Well I didn't condemn her or call her skanky, if that is indeed what you're saying. I simply said that people who are public figures should know that they're prime targets for hackers, and attractive actresses are probably at the very top of that list because everyone is going to want to see those photos.

A better option would be to use a non-networked device locked down with a password and encryption. It's more work, sure, but it's certainly better than trusting that a company can guarantee the security of their cloud server.

You have no clue what you're talking about. Quit being so judgmental. Her body, her choice. Being naked doesn't mean she's not a nice girl. Liking sex (however kinky and intense and graphic) doesn't make her a whore - it makes her human.
You have NO right to judge her or her level of character for this. *beep* you for doing that. Don't try to shove your own beliefs upon someone else and don't shame them because they do things different than you.
