Maybe the same thing they did with Josh Brolin (i.e. NOTHING):

On the other hand, Brolin is white, NOT a Black man, nor an Argentinian woman, so, you know, different rules for different people, and all that. It's the *faux* 'woke'/corporatist way...

True, but it also helps that he's WHITE.

FWIW, I've got NOTHING against Brolin. I actually quite like him. I'm just highlighting Hollywood hypocrisy when it comes to how it deals with white male actors and Black male actors...

People don't like tragedies that make them feel helpless, nothing new. They much prefer the idea of an abuser being held accountable than worrying about a force of nature they can't control.
