So...exactly what role did she play in "Fleabag?"
A talking bag of fleas that spews out crap?
shareAn obnoxious bitch that nobody in real life would want to know.
shareI watched one episode of Fleabag on streaming just to see what it is about. It turns out it is about a woman opened a cafe with a friend, who died recently.
Her business was struggling and she steals from everyone she meets including her family, and have sex with almost any guy shown interests in her on the first date. She dumped one of them when he thought they were moving too fast.
She had a boyfriend before who broke up with her because she masturbated to an Obama speech.
So it is really about an average looking, lonely, desperate, liberal woman (she attends feminist lectures) of low morals, probably low self esteem too, but it seems to resonate with a lot of people (I assume mostly women) for some reason, which I assumed based on the rating of the show.
It is listed as a comedy, but I don't think anyone would laugh, maybe a smile or two from some self-deprecating lines.

Good lord. And Daniel Craig watched that and said "This is what Bond's been missing"??
shareI did not know she had a hand in writing the script, only found out now.
Now I know why there were so much action scenes from Ana de Armas and a black woman 007 in "No Time to Die", and why Bond had to die.
Fleabag was a fantastic comedy with brilliant, insightful dialogue like the now-classic line “I did a fart last night that was just like one of mum’s”, for which Phoebe Waller-Bridge deserves not only all the TV screenwriting awards in the world, but the Nobel Prize for Literature as well.
Fart jokes for Nobel price, really?
shareShe was a train wreck that was fascinating to watch.
