Ella Punell or Kaya Scodelario?!

Kaya is my number one choice. She showed that she is a very talented actress on Skins, and I would looooove for her to play Katniss. But I still think Ella could do a really good job id she were to be cast.

Yeah, to me it seems like she's not trying very hard to get the part because she thinks everyoneeee that's in that age range who's an actress will be after the role.

and i think she's right about that lol i hope they don't screw up the casting and get chloe moretz, elle fanning, lyndsy fonseca, jodelle ferland, anyone younger than 17 or older than 21... katniss has to be casted right. she's gonna hold the whole series

How about Jennifer Lawrence. Could she maybe play the role? i mean i know she's tall and about 5 years older than the character in the book, but maybe she could pull it off.
