I suspect they recast her because...
...her features are a little too close to Evangeline Lilly's. It'll also have been a charisma thing too, I realise, since they're clearly setting up a new generation of young heroes.
Do wish they'd chosen an actress who was a better match to the daughter as a child though, especially as these movies are all about continuity and constantly referencing forwards and backwards through the series.
