They have dispute with Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, but cant do anything because those are in NATO. If not that then they would attack Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia years ago and occupy. Like they did with part on Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia. Did you even knew that parts of Moldova and Georgia are being occupied by russia for many years? Can you even find them on maps? Do you even know that in 2008 russia invaded Georgia to show off its power?
Belarus and Armenia surrendered to russia years ago and are barely an independent countries now. They do everything that russia orders them to do. Thats why russia has no problems with them.
Ukraine never surrendered and always fought with russia for its freedom and kept refusing to submit and become occupied like Belarus and Armenia. Thats why russia hates Ukraine so much. And Ukraine was the biggest "second country" in USSR. Like a wingman. That New USSR would make no sense without Ukraine. That why putin was obsessed with suppressing it.
