Ariel in Disney's Live-Action The Little Mermaid

It has been rumored that The Little Mermaid might join the slate of live-action fairy tale remakes that Disney is churning out.

If it is true, I think she would be PERFECT for Ariel. My full fancast is....

Mackenzie Foy as Ariel
Dylan Sprayberry as Prince Eric
Bette Midler as Ursula
Jeffrey Dean Morgan as King Triton
Ryan Newman as Vanessa

No Disney. Mackenzie is better than that. She would better continue to show her dramatic talent like she did in Interstellar in a really good auteur films or big-budget films by the great directors who actually cares about the performances.

Good actors diversify their body of work. For example, Elle Fanning did Maleficent. She then has gone on to do some great indie movies, too. One live-action fairy tale is not the same as her signing on for a nine picture deal with Marvel.
