Good looks, short height

The young actor has the 'dream boy' good looks that the teen girls and young women love. Too bad he's only 5'7.75" tall, but that's not his fault. No guy asks to be born short. If all guys had their way, we'd all be 6'2" or 6'3" tall. It's just odd that in this day and age in the western world given the outstanding nutrition and medical services, there's no reason for any man not to be at least 5'9", and even that's on the shorter side now. Male shortness in the western world is genetics now, not nutrition-caused.

If there's any comment I have to say about this Kit Harington, it's what some other imdb poster wrote, he needs to keep his mouth closed. Throughout the movie he has his mouth open, even when not speaking. It makes him look like a mouth breather.

Seriously does it really matter what height a person is I personally find it insulting? Why is a man 6' better than a man 5'7"?

You know you just posed a question/argument in one sentence and then answered/contradicted it in the next sentence, right?

Meh...I don't get the obsession with height. I don't think he's that short. I'd consider 5'8" a near-perfect height. I mean, I'm a 5'5" girl..which I think is pretty average. Not sure whether that's 5'3", 4", 5", or what, but if I had my way I'd be between 5'8" and 6'. Oh, well. Height just doesn't play a big part in what I find attractive, I guess...partly because it's so hard to tell. Everything's relative, and so many factors can create the illusion of someone being taller or shorter. I don't see why a man *should* reach at least a certain height. I've found guys incredibly attractive who are shorter than me, as well as ones in the "average" range, and some well over 6'. I dunno, I suppose it simply doesn't matter all that much to me. Frankly I don't think I'd need or even want a guy towering over me; being about the same height or just a bit taller would be great. And even -my- being taller, with or without shoes, wouldn't bother me much. It is all genetics, and I don't value the 'tall gene' over the 'short gene.' (Actually, that sounds kinda weird of me to say...don't I usually tend to prefer long, lean, lanky, slim, wiry, 'tallish-looking' things? Yes, that's true. It must be that I like that type of build regardless of the creature's actual height. Ha!)

And I have not noticed the "mouth always open" thing--geez, now I'm gonna be looking for it. D: I just started watching GoT this week, so I'm nearing the end of S1. Think I'd have to agree with whomever said it's because of the cold climate, though. That seems pretty obvious to me.

If you wanna talk about 'good looks, short height' ... and 'tremendous charisma' I might add... have you thought of his co-star, Peter Dinklage? or you lot wouldn't even consider him a 'guy'?

I don't think it matters, really. Where I am from men are relatively short, comparing to men in the US. 5'7 - 5'9 is probably the average height. I'm 5'6 and I've dated men my height, I don't think it's a big deal at all. If the man is much shorter, like say 5'1 that might be awkward but if it's a small difference it feels like nitpicking to me. It might be a dealbreaker for some, but not for me nor most people I know.
And I would date Kit in a heartbit, if I ever had the chance.

And on some small level, I think you owe me something for deceiving me so exquisitely.
