When I opened IMDB and saw this guy on the trending page I thought that another body horror movie along the lines of The Substance was coming out and got excited for a moment.

It is shocking when you first see him but that quickly fades. He's very talented and, IMO, very brave for forging ahead and doing his thing which he's damn good at.

We have to learn to accept that the world contains ugliness and beauty (and everything between). It can be off-putting and difficult, especially given the potency of our media.

All true, and our media certainly doesn't help us with these lessons.
