Spike

Does anybody have any pictures of her? She's listed as playing "Adora Belle" [Spike] in "Going Postal"; and I absolutely loved the character (and book) and would like to see what she looks like.

So far, I'm pretty happy with who they got for the cast (although I think they should have kept Jeremy Irons as the Patrician). Definitely looking forward to this one. (Whenever it gets shown in the States).

Great movie. Was a while since I read the book so I don't think I was bothered as much by any inconsistencies that some people have mentioned on the Movie's own forum. 7.0/10

I think she was perfect as Adora Belle Dearheart! The chemistry between her and Richard Coyle's Moist Von Lipwig was exactly what I would have expected between the characters. I am a HUGE fan of Terry Pratchett's novels, and have read almost all of them. I didn't mind the little changes they made in the miniseries/movie since the way they did it flowed together so smoothly. The actors portrayed their characters wonderfully and it has become one of my absolute favorite movies to come out in the last year. ^_^

I only just finished watching the miniseries of Going Postal recently, and I have to say...I really enjoyed it. I hadn't read the book it was based on or knew anything about it prior to watching. When it started, I was a bit unsure of what was going on, but quickly managed to catch onto what it was all about and found that it had just the right amount of 'quirk' for me. Some things are just *too* weird and I don't enjoy them, but I certainly enjoyed this. And while everyone was really good, Claire Foy was who stood out to me. I don't think I've ever seen her in anything else, so she was new to me. I must agree that she was perfect as Adora Belle.

Having not read the book, I can't really compare how she was in the mini-series to how the character was written in the book, but I thoroughly enjoyed her performance. She did such a good job of giving the character so many dimensions. It was really quite a delight to see those few moments when she let her guard down and actually *smiled*. I too loved her onscreen chemistry with Richard Coyle's Lipwig. Most of my favourite scenes were the ones shared between the two of them. They had such fun/interesting/emotional interaction.

After having watched Part 2, I almost immediately went out and bought Going Postal on Blu-ray (although I had to wait a bit, as it only got released here this week). I look forward to watching this delightful miniseries again soon. And I'm definitely keeping an eye out for Claire Foy in anything else she might be in from now on. After watching a few interviews with her on youtube, she really seems like a nice/cool person. I hope to see her in more things in the future.
