I disagree. A couple of years ago they were pushing her hard but not now. Most of her heat died after The Mortal Instruments flopped and she didn't have any other hits to fall back on. Compare her to say Emilia Clarke, who is 30 by the way. Sure Terminator Genisys flopped and that hurt her but she had Game of Thrones to fall back on and the very next year Me Before you made 207mil worldwide on a 20 million dollar budget. And now she has scored the female lead in the guaranteed hit young Han Solo movie.

Hollywood is ageist but there are actresses who have scored roles in big projects around her age and older. She's not out of the game yet and she won't be out when she turns 30 if she scores the right roles. Honestly after all the times that I've been wrong and thought this or that actress career was over I'd never say never about Collins. She seems to get solid reviews for her performances she just doesn't play in things that people want to see or that are very good.

She just needs to star in mainstream films to get more popular. There are many thespians out there who suck but still get major roles because of the films they were in.

I mean, today's announcement of her Golden Globe nomination is surely to help; it has been a great catalyst or reinforcer in propelling attention. Good for her that she was able to turn the trend around.
