It's one persons word against another. Maybe we should compare their pasts to see if one is more credible than the other. There is the presumption of innocence when it comes to everyone else, so why can that not apply to people who lean right>?
shareYes, there is the presumption of innocence. But this cannot stop those who feel their were wronged from taking steps to ensure their abuser is not punished.
