'Sleepy Hollow' - Badly Miscast
She looks about 15, and lacks any authority whatsoever.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Black don't crack.
I'm damn near forty and still get carded.
Well, she certainly does not look 15 to me, but to the part about her being badly miscast - yes! A thousand times yes!
I am glad I am not the only one who thinks so.
Why do you think she is miscast? I think she is portrays a cop well.
Esther: My name was in the Bible!
Fred: Yeah, Samson slew the Philistines with your jaw-bone!
Couldn't disagree more. She is perfect in the role of Lt. Abbie Mills.

Like I said - because she looks about fifteen, and lacks any authority whatsoever.

@lovelylabrys
She's perfect for the part---I guess you can't stand the fact that's she not yet another generic blond blue-eyed actress like all the other TV leads you see on TV all the time. I don't see a damn wrong with her casting---plus it's nice to see a black actress as the lead in a TV show,anyway (despite the fact that this is the 21st century and that shouldn't even be an issue,but it is.) And she happens to be blessed with a natural fresh-faced girl-next-door beauty on top of that.

What's with the aggressive assumptions? You sound like you have a right chip on your shoulder.
I happen to agree with the lack of diversity in casting in U.S shows, so don't be so aggressive in your accusations in the future.
I am from the UK - we don't have the blonde blue-eyed young actresses in every leading role like you do in the USA.
For the reasons stated, I just happen to think that she is wrong for the role.
