I know most actresses would probably like to have her career but I would LOVE to see a black woman appear in those types of roles like Girl With a Pearl Earring, Lucy, Under the Skin, Her and Avengers.
She's just as gorgeous (more so imo) and just as charismatic. She should have been a leading lady by her mid twenties.

For example something with the same concept or setting as 300 or Immortals. She would not fit into movies such as these if she acted as she does on Sleepy hollow. If you do not observe these things than you're not too perceptive. Lydie does none of these things so im not sure why Nicole does..Just compare her scenes to Greenwood's and you will see..

Thats funny cause if Nicole was as good as the pedestal you put her on she would have a career like Scarlett so since she doesn't i guess that isnt the case and she is mostly just a pretty face with acting not up to par with her peers. Well I'm sure in Scarlets case it doesn't hurt being a blonde white woman with connections in the entertainment business by birth. I like Scarjo actually and I think she is bankable and talented.
Nicole Beharie is a Julliard trained actress. And please-there are plenty of actors who got a late start and have become successful (Lupita Nyongo, John Hamm, Harrison Ford and even Jessica Chastain). Nicole Beharie cannot help that she is naturally expressive in interviews. It does look odd at times, but I think its a bit quirky and interesting. Why should she act like everyone else?
She seems really sweet and genuine/classy. I can't say that for many hollywood actresses currently. In all her interviews she is poised, humble, and reserved.
She WILL be a huge star in a couple of years (who knows, maybe even surpass Scarjo) and why not? She has all the winning ingredients to do so.
