Let me try to make your point clearer, and tell me if I'm doing it right:

Apparently people are complaining about Jonathan Groff being gay and saying that it makes his performance as a straight love interest unrealistic, but you're saying that getting over the fact that he's gay is a whole lot easier than getting over the unrealism of the romantic plotlines that are the staple for almost all film romances.

As for me, I think he did a fine job in Glee.
