I see in his bio that he's lead singer of "The Darling Buds"...is this some sort of revival of the original band called The Darling Buds? (they were an indie pop group from Newport, South Wales back in late 80s/early 90s) Or just sheer coincidence with the identical band names?

shareIt's just a coincidence. I thought it was like a reboot or something, but it isn't. I'll have to find it, but he talks about it in several interviews.

Hahah, wow, I just thought the same thing too. I thought -hang on- this kid is only 23, born in 1988, so how could he have been in The Darling Buds, the great 80s/early 90s indie darlings with hits such as Hit The Ground and the classic album Pop Said?
Then before I even came here I thought they must have just called themselves it not knowing of their elders' original band.
