Sorry for who ever does like the idea of Having Jamie play Jace but i seriously think that Max Lloyd-Jones would make a much better Jace. who else thinks that?

I agree. The sad thing about having "adults" cast for movies that are not from adult fiction is that they think they know the characters and they clearly don't. Why can I say this? I teach lit. HA! I love young adult literature when well written. My youngest son got me hooked.
You are correct - this Jamie doesn't have the heft or the appearance that must be able to "go dark" to be the character Jace.
It's like casting Tom Cruise to play Anne Rice's vampire Lestat ----OH! They did that already!
The character for the girl - well if she can act her way out of a wet paper bag she's on :o)
Visually - it could be her.
ANY actor would have been better as Jace. Weeks after the casting announcement, I'm still brokenhearted they killed my movie.

I agree with you all! I think Alex pettyfer would have been great as jace!! Jamie is nit jace at all! I'm very disappointed.

I'm actually excited to see how Jamie does it. If he gets a bit buffer and they do something with his hair then he will do awesome. He can definately act.
I am pretty excited to see how jamie does, although i loved the books and in my head i always pictured Alex pettyfer as jace. its a shame he didnt accept the role as jace, he would have been great.
