That's not very nice. He isn't conventionally attractive, but he's got an interesting face. Sometimes having an interesting face is better than having an attractive face... it makes a person more memorable and singular amongst the masses, very useful for struggling actors.

I don't think he is ugly. Not at all. He isn't unpleasant to look at (I'm sorry Steve Buscemi but you are a weird looking mofo) Jamie Campbell Bower's looks appeal to particular people and but not to others. That doesn't make him ugly.

I've been dumbfounded since they had him play Arthur in Camelot.If EVER a guy was NOT an "Arthur"..it's THIS one.Had they at LEAST cut that ugly mop of hair they could MAYBE have made him LOOK like "guy"..but I'm just not impressed with him at all.Now on Downton Abbey..he'd probably fit right in because they aren't long on having the manly types in cast.But the hair...STILL needs to be cut....yuk!

It pains me that most people only view attractiveness in extremely common conventions. I think Jamie is incredibly attractive. It's too bad the only guys most people are into are generic beefcake meatheads.

Jamie Campbell Bower is honestly one of the best looking young actors I know. Him, Dylan O'Brien and Brenton Thwaites are my top 3. I don't understand how people can look at a face like that and call him ugly. Whereas people calling stereotypical "hunks" like Alex Pettyfer ugly, I can understand. A man can be attractive without looking overly masculine. Muscles don't equal beauty, and it pains me to think that if he were more muscular that more people would be attracted to him. In my honest opinion, he has one of the most uniquely beautiful faces I've ever seen, and just because he doesn't have the same look as the classic hot guy, that doesn't make him ugly. If you haven't already, watch The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. If you don't find him attractive in that, you can't expect everyone else to agree with you on saying he's ugly.
