Potential for future - real talent

Skins is a great example of the most effective acting, subtle acting, she is very talented!

She is very talented. How many people can do something where they hardly say a word, yet have so many people like them? How many? I can only think of 2, and she's one of them. She's very talented and beautiful.

Kristen Stewart is who everyone should aim to be.

Yeah, she's got a really expressive face, one of the best acting tools. The only other person who I've seen act that way, without having any lines really but still letting the audience know exactly how they feel is Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter movies.

she is also really beautiful for a 15 years old girl.

As much as i like what ive seen of the character, i have to disagree in a way in that i dont think you could really call her 'real talent' from what little there is to go on. Yes she has an expressive face, but i would hardly say that you can see exactly how shes feeling or what shes thinking or learn anything about her personality, which is the whole point of the character. I also would assume that it is easier to get the right facial expressions if that is pretty much all you have to do - she doesnt have to concentrate on things like how lines are delivered and tone of voice.

I think a big reason why she is popular is because she is one of the most intriguing characters weve met. Most of the characters in skins you can either relate to in some way or know someone who is a little like them; it will be interesting to see if this is true of Effy and how her character develops. Hopefully she does turn out to be a great actress though :)

She can't be 15. Please God, say it ain't so.

I couldn't agree more.

The subtleties of Kaya's facial expressions are a real pleasure to watch. She is able to express so much with a tiny lift of an eyebrow or just the hint of a smile without giving away exactly what's going on in her character's mind.

'Effy' is certainly an enigmatic character and Kaya demonstrates in this role that despite her tender years she has a deep understanding of the issues that affect her character. She is far from being 'just a pretty face', and although she is still very young, it would surprise me if she doesn't go on to even bigger and better roles as she matures.

To have a character that doesn't speak very often captivate an audience the way 'Effy' does is no mean feat.

Kaya Scodelario? Definitely one to watch!

In th first series definately, in the seccond, perhaps it was just bad writing, but I found some of her acting a little dodgey. The whol art being everywhere thing.

I thought that was great acting. That whole episode was fantastic. The fact that she practically organised everyone to do exactly what she expected. I especially loved the expression she used after she saw Pandora's stunt. Like 'Wow I really am actually amazed, I cant believe it'
