I thought she was great in her non speaking episodes. She's very expressive but when it comes down to speaking, she comes across as really stiff and unnatural.

shareWhile she does kind of mumble at times, I do really like the way she's playing Effy. But her story hasn't gotten interesting til this last episode when she makes it unabashedly clear that she has recreational sex with cook, and she doesn't appear ashamed about it.
In the scene with JJ she was rather good I thought.
Oh well, difference of opinions I guess. We'll see how she does next episode, it's hers so I'm looking forward to it.
I agree, I guess. I stopped watching about two or three episodes in. When I compare Effy and to the Kaya I see on the interviews, it's pretty impressive! I would like to see her on a different role, though.
