What do you think her parents think?

It is quite weird imagining her parents watch her on Skins considering all the racy things she has to do at such an extremely young age. Cos she was 16 when she filmed all those sex/drug scenes, and in most films/tv they normally use an actor for those kind of things that is at least 20+(correct me if i'm wrong but w.e).
i would imagine that they would be proud of here obv, cos shes the lead in a successful tv series, but on the other hand it must be so hard seeing their lil' girl do all that kind of stuff. i'm around her age, and i know if my parents saw me do all that stuff on tv they would probably have a heart attack.

i suppose they support her if they let her do the show and all. i know that her gran watches the show with the volume muted because she doesn't want to know what's going on haaha.

There comes a time when you just have to let your children follow their own paths and he parents wouldn't allow her to take part if they were against it. She's 17 and over the age of consent. If she'd been younger than yes it would have been the wrong thing to do.

Is 16 the legal age over there in Britain? I was thinking the same thing. She's so young to be acting those kinds of racy scenes, it's really quite hardcore for that age group. Sad to think that's actually realistic to the current generation of teenagers in Britain.

Yes. The legal age for consent is 16. I guess it is kind of young yeah, but on the other hand you can't keep young people wrapped up in cotton wool for the rest of their days or else their confident will be dealt a serious blow and they'll end up being scared to do thing because narrow-minded people will tell that that it's wrong, but as long as you're not taking drugs, brawling in the street of getting yourself pregnant then you'll be OK.

Her sex scenes are not racy at all. They consist of little kissing, taking off her shirt and some fully clothed bouncing.
Nicholas Hoult had a very racy sex scene in Season 2 and it required full stripping and quite realistic depiction of *surfing and turfing*.

No it's not, it's a heck of alot more fun than the Americans (I'm duel so see both sides). To be frank, it's worse than that. Less love and drama, more random hook-ups - because we can.

Incredibly wrong, it really isn't like this at all. The main criticisms British teenagers have of Skins is that it is so exaggerated and unrealistic, it's almost impossible to relate to.
