Her birth name is Kaya Rose Humphrey. Her dad is British, mom is Brazilian. When she was a kid, her parents divorced and she assumed her mother's maiden name. Apparently her mother is Brazilian of Italian descent, because Scodelario is an Italian last name. This makes Kaya British and Italian.

shareNot really. Almost everyone in Brazil can trace their lineage back to Europe, but that doesn't make them European. It's culture that matters, and as far as we know the culture she was exposed to and brought up in was mostly British and partly Brazilian, but not Italian at all.
