Whether you love or hate her, you have to admit this is a good song.

shareTaylor could write that song in her sleep. Nothing special.
share
'Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off (hoo-hoo-hoo)
Heartbreakers gonna break, break, break, break, break
And the fakers gonna fake, fake, fake, fake, fake
Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off (hoo-hoo-hoo)
I never miss a beat
I'm lightnin' on my feet
And that's what they don't see, mm-mm
That's what they don't see, mm-mm
Those are excellent lyrics what are you on about?
shareSure, Jan.
shareWell, at least in my opinion "Shake it Off" is a better song.
shareHave you been hacked?
shareIt is a good song, the lyrics make sense (not all her songs do), the theme is clear, the beat is good, the MV is horrible, but almost all Swift's MVs are bad.
For example "Blank Space" is one of her good songs but the lyrics don't make sense, especially "Boys only want love if it's torture. Don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn ya".
I think the original lyrics is "Girls only want love if it's torture. Don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn ya", now that makes sense, otherwise who is she trying to warn? But I think she worried the lyrics would be offensive to girls, she did not want the backslash.
Songs sometimes can't be honest because of identity politics.
Anyway, got carried away.
I find her lyrics to be too obvious and her rhyming is just silly.
shareNo. Swift's music is written by her producer's team, and then she writes the lyrics with her team. She has little talent, and she has never produced a song half as good as a mediocre LZ tune, which is what Stairway to Heaven is.
shareIf that is really the case why is there so little competition with her? She could not have owned all the best writers.
Justin Bieber is closer to what described, that is why many of his hit songs feature some singers nobody heard of, because those singers wrote the songs, if Bieber wanted to use those songs he has to allow those singers to sing a part of it as well.
It's a poor age for popular music. Look at who Led Zep were competing with: the Velvet Underground, the Beatles, the Stones, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, CCR, the Stooges, Sly and the Family Stone, Hendrix, Clapton, Bowie, Zappa, Pink Floyd, the Beach Boys, Joni, Janis, the Who, Johnny Cash, the Doors, the Kinks... I could go on.
In that era, Taylor Swift's tiny iota of talent would have gone completely unnoticed. Without today's marketing methods and all-inclusive production, she wouldn't have sold out a toilet cubicle.
top ten of all time.
shareIt is good, and I am a fan. But it’s highly overrated.
Whether you love or hate her, you have to admit this is a good song.
