Crying During Press Conference


I saw pictures where she burst into tears during a press conference a few days before the film got the award. I haven't seen the movie, and probably won't, but I wonder if all the wrong attention the film has received for its blatant sexuality is bothering her, or whether someone asked a rude/stupid/immature question?

Wrong attention ? The movie was praised in Cannes by almost every critics...

Why did she cry ? She was just touched by Kechiche's comments : the director praised her talent.

She cried because Abdel (the director) praised her emotional range and depth which gave much beauty to the character of Emma. She was moved by this comment of his. According to Seydoux, she trusted the director and his style and she felt that she was treated like a member of his family.
