He's a South Asian(Indian), but as you can already tell the majority of his roles he'll be playing latinos/hispanic characters. I guess South Asians still can't get a break.

Most actors I'm sure wish they could play outside of their race(as well as their race). He's lucky. There aren't many roles for South Asians.
