Oh good, I'm not the only adult pining for the young man. He is too young for me, but he CERTAINLY is a man. Love the hair, LOVE the mustache and goatee!! He literally exudes sexuality and it's crazy for a 21 yo to do that, but he's got it. If only I had a Dorian Gray painting in my attic...

Well that makes three of us. I agree with you both. I'm in my late 30s. I've watched some episodes Victorious due to babysitting my nieces and nephews thinking "Oh the guy playing Beck is a little cutie isn't he". And now Avan is the reason I faithfully go home on Tuesday's to tune into Twisted. No babysitiing, no phone calls. I just feel no Man should be this F*^#ing Beautiful. Love the hair, love the goatee, love those dark eyes, his style and that chocolate chip complexion. Where were guys like this when I was in high school? Oh yeah, probably Canada. :)

HAHA enigma, love it! Love what you love, and love how you described him ("chocolate chip complexion"). It's so weird, when I was in school there were only 2 hot guys in there...and they both turned out to be narcs, which meant legally they couldn't touch any of the girls there. We had hot teachers too, one was a Chippendales waiter on the side, the other, a volunteer firefighter. But they also couldn't touch us. But amongst the actual guys in school, none were that interesting. Maybe it's not too late to check out what Canada is hiding up there LOL

You have made my day. I thought I was the only one who was like he is young but he has all the makings of TV/Movie star. The facial hair really did the change for him. Oh, and I love the piercing too. Also, everything I have seen shows he is pretty down to earth so that is an added bonus.

I am a mature fan too and I have to say he is getting better with age. Only a few actors can say this to be true. He is very good looking and I am very impressed with his acting. I had to watch Twisted because his acting in it is top notch. I watch the show mainly because of what he brings to it. Overall, I am impressed with his talent and I hope that Hollywood gets it and starts putting him in some good stuff. I thought he was a cutie as Beck(the few times I caught the show) but Twisted is showing his range and I am all for it. I just think it is interesting does not get as much publicity as his counterparts. Cover of magazines etc? Why not? As far as the teen crowd. He is in his early 20's so he will appeal to them and they grew up with him on Victorious. I'm just glad to see a good actor continuing to work and getting a little bit more older content.

Well, I'm certainly in the "mature" fan club. I think I have you guys beat age-wise. The good thing is, I can assure you that you're never too old to appreciate beauty, and other "feelings" don't disappear with age, either.

As for his personality, the more I read or watch his interviews, the better I like him. That's a must for me. For instance, a lot of people compare him to Johnny Depp. I was instantly attracted to Depp when he first got started because of his looks, but quickly lost interest when he seemed to be too "cool" to even carry on a conversation (or else he was stoned all the time).

Anyway, I notice looks first (doesn't everyone?), but there has to be more to keep me interested.

So far, Avan's doing a great job in all departments .

I don't see it . I think he is doomed to be stereo typed casted as a teenager and that doesn't last to long, since he is hitting 22 . I think if he is serious about acting he needs to make a brake from the teen look and go for a 21 year old look . Facial hair doesn't work on him . The long hair has to go . I think he would do better for roles if he cuts the hair and looks more clean cut for larger roles .


Twisted is only good for the ratings if it stays on Netflix . The rating were very low on ABC and Netflix watchers are a whole different audience . I know my niece and her friends didn't like it enough to wait for the storyline week by week . Yet for "Pretty Little Liars" it did well for rating and they seem to like it . Netflix watchers are a twisted bunch anyway :) ratings for Hemlock Grove is off the charts . House of Cards , Orange is the New Black .


ABC and Twisted ratings ???? I cant see it changing anytime soon .

He should clean up and be the new Aziz Ansari.......
