One of the most talented child actors I have ever seen
She plays her roles on Mad Men and Monk flawlessly. I hope she does more and avoids the common fate of child stars.

shareI always thought she was good on Mad Men, but I didn't realize just how good until last Sunday's episode. The scene where she was yelling at her family and crying was unbelievable.
You're fighting the weight of the world, and no one can save you this time.
She is awesome.
shareAgreed! Many children are "natural" actors because they are just being themselves and don't bring any affectations to what they are doing. Kiernan is actually having to dig deep and relay emotions and experiences other than just playing, running around with friends, etc. The scene when she screamed at her family was Emmy-worthy, in my opinion. Tonight's episode was awesome, too!
shareShe's being given some amazing material this season, and executing it bravely. The last episode where she was scared of her baby brother because she thought it was the ghost of her grandfather, what a performance!!! She's dealing with the loss of one family memeber, and the fact that there's a new addition to the family and that is too similar to the one she lost. I hope they keep giving her this amazing material, and yes, an Emmy nomination should be in order for her next year (children have been nominated before, just ask Keisha Knight-Pulliam who got an Emmy nomination as Rudy Huxtable on the second season of the Cosby Show). This is deep stuff, and I think she'll handle anything that comes her way.
shareShe dominated the Mad Men kitchen scene, about the death of her grandfather.
Stole that whole scene from four adult actors.
The emotional truth in her voice was impressive for an actor of any age.
Hollywood will be knocking on her parents door, I hope they go slow.
I think that she's the most awful child actress I've ever seen. There's nothing about her that's even remotely legitimate and I feel like she hurts the show.
shareYou must be another 'aspiring' actor.
Quit the jealousy
Oh no, he disagrees with your opinion... ATTACK, ATTACK!
I agree that she's nothing special and in fact hurts the show. The way I look at it kids often do. I'm thinking mostly of Anthony Junior in the Sopranos.
