Is anyone here white?

I went to see this and LOVED it, and I go to a lot of bollywood musicals cuz they're usually amazing, but i'm always the only non-indian and it's like awwwwwwkward lol. people of all backgrounds should see Om Shanti Om, it's like my favourite movie

reply

Lol, most of my non-Indian friends love Indian movies too! don't worry you're not the only one :]

In California, there are lots of whites and non-South Asians who come to theaters for Indian movies. Do you live on the east coast?

reply

Yeah, I live in Charlotte and I'm usually the only nonIndian in the Bollywood movies that come to town. But I love them and don't let the awkwardness keep me away. :-)

OF COURSE I DO!! SRK!! WHAT'S BETTER?!?!?! lolllll. so yah ur not the only one. hahaha :) and yeah it's one of my fav's too.

When the OSO premier was in germany, the place was ransacked with white ppl who were all singing the films songs whilst waiting for srk to arrive. Apparently bollywood is MASSIVE in that country???

I love bollywood, its so random, there you are watching and suddenly they break into song, i love it. Tho sometimes i get confused and wonder exactly how their characters are seeing that part of the movie, cos theyre not seeing themselves as singing, its sort of like a montage but better. Whats more confusing is when one of them dreams or imagines it and then u get totally lost. Great fun tho:)
