Something that I have been noticing for a few years, is that blonde actresses with brown eyes don't usually do as well with the audience. But she just always seemed to be an exception, in my book. That is until I came across her with blue eyes. So does she have blue eyes and they use brown contacts (I can't imagine why they'd do that), because on the show she has brown eyes. The images of her blue eyes seem to show that they are naturally blue.
shareOk. I went looking for answers and found a TVD info site. They explain that her eyes are not changed but that they use dark is lighting making it seem as though she has brown eyes (it mentioned that several seem to have dark eye color when in fact 90% of the actors/actresses in fact have blue eyes, but appear brown due to lighting.
shareIts pretty normal that one cannot really find out the real eye color of people in movies. Unless they make a real closeup of a face and you have good light and you view the movie in somewhat high quality.

I was watching season 1 last night and the pupil in her eyes just seem huge and very dark. Must be the lighting... or she really is a vampire.
