Trump should hire a 1964 US Quarter Dollar coin to make his Covid-19 decisions.

Anthony Fauci graduated #1
in his class at Cornell in 1966.

Do you know how hard that is to do?

I am guessing that 99% of the posters on the his site cannot even GET INTO CORNELL (myself included) let alone graduate first in class.

That is like saying Micheal Jordan missed more shots than he made, why are we still watching him.

MJ had a 47% lifetime field goal percentage.

Enjoy your day

Something's up with this dude. I don't trust him (or Birx). Never have.

reply

I don't know if I trust him either. He admitted to lying about the masks at first saying that they don't protect you then he claims that the masks protect you against COVID. Which is it???

reply

He wasn't lying about masks when he said they don't protect. They don't. That has been proved by quite a few scientific studies. But the politics changed around last March and it became expedient to advocate for mask wearing, so everybody changed their tune. The pre-2020 mask studies were done without bias or agenda, just to find out what masks do or don't do. But since the hysterical overreaction kicked off last spring, any official statements demanding mask wearing are motivated by ideology, not science. Masks are a false security blanket for the scientifically naive, and a virtue-signaling device for the self-righteous left. They protect against viruses about as much as a pink ribbon protects against breast cancer.

reply

I believe you 100%. I just don't know why the world is obsessed with mask wearing; I personally hate them. I think and firmly believe, the world is brainwashed.

reply

First of all understanding (especially new things) evolves and changes in science, eventually arriving at an extremely accurate picture of reality.

Secondly, at the time he was telling everyone not to wear masks the supply was so limited health care workers didn't always have them - and I mean one mask for each of them, period. The virus was also nowhere even close to being this prevalent in the community. At that time it made sense to save the existing supply for those coming into direct contact with patients and work to increase production.

We also didn't know how big a problem asymptomatic spread was. With the original SARS virus only symptomatic people could spread it, so it was easily contained and wiped out. At first we assumed this would be the case with covid-19. Once we found out otherwise having the whole population wear masks became a priority. As we learn, guidance changes. Politicians seem to think that staking out one position and never changing it no matter what "projects strength". Luckily scientists don't do things that way.

Yeah, masks block most viral transmission. Sorry for those trying to argue against that statement but you're wrong. They're less effective at protecting the wearer, although they do cut the risk of becoming infected by about 30%. Their main function is preventing an already infected individual (who may have no clue they've got it) from spewing coronavirus into the air. A simple mask is quite efficient at catching what comes out of your nose and mouth. It doesn't stop 100% of it, but pretty close.

True.

Luckily, everyone who is online knows everything, so, we don't need doctors or professionals anymore.

;) :D :(

reply

Right, next time I get food poisoning, I'll go see the OP. Who needs doctors when we have all these know-it-alls?
