Should play Madeline in the North and South remake

Phoebe would be a great choice for the main heroine Madeline Fabray in the upcoming remake of the 1985 miniseries "North and South". She's got the dark hair and stunning beauty required for the character, a sort of exotic look like the character should have (Madeline was a creole, not sure what that means exactly but it showed in her looks), and I really think fans of the original miniseries would be pleased with her because I can see where she would resemeble the original Madeline, Lesley-Anne Down.

I'm going to write Discovery network, who is producing, suggesting her. I'm sure she could have time to do it while The Originals is on hiatus.

In the United States, the word "Creole" refers to people of any race or mixture thereof who are descended from settlers in colonial French Louisiana before it became part of the United States in 1803 with the Louisiana Purchase. Some writers from other parts of the country have mistakenly assumed the term to refer only to people of mixed racial descent, but this is not the traditional Louisiana usage. Originally it referred to people of French and then Spanish descent who were born in Louisiana, to distinguish them from immigrants. Later Creole was sometimes used as well to refer to people of African descent born in Louisiana. Later the terms were differentiated by French Creole (European ancestry) and Louisiana Creole (meaning someone of mixed racial ancestry).(pinched from Wiki)

In the case of Madeleine in North & South, it was established early on that she had black ancestry from a slave, hence her "exotic" looks...

Didn't know they were making a remake, I'll look forward to that, thanks 8)

Thanks for the info!

Yes, it was announced in August last year that they are making one, it'll probably take a while to make, but I have high hopes that it's going to be pretty good.

I like how Phoebe looks like she could be a daughter of Lesley-Anne Down, and a role like this would really put Phoebe on the map even more. I will write to Discovery who is making the series and suggest her to them.
