Age?

I was wondering that too. I have no idea, but here are some clues:

- In his earliest two roles, his character's age was mentioned. In Jesus Children of America (2005) his age was said to be 19, which would make him born 1986. In Pitch (2006), his age was said to be 22, which would make him born in 1984.

- He also starred in Accepted (2006) as a freshman, alongside both Justin Long (b. 1978) and Blake Lively (b. 1987)

- In Gotham, he is referring to Fish Mooney as being like his mother. Jada Pinkett Smith, who plays her, was born 1971. It is obvious that she isn't old enough to be as his mother, but it implies that Oswald, as a character, is quite young.


I would personally said that it is highly unprobable that he was born before 1978 or after 1987. So, I would assume that range, although it is quite a big range.

If you find out, feel free to share.

He'd noted in an interview he caught Batman with his parents when it was in theaters, and that was 1989. He said he was 7 or 8 then, so perhaps 1981-83 range.

He said in one interview that he was in the same year at uni as Kristen Schaal, who's 36, so I'm guessing he wasn't born before 1978

On his Wikipedia page, it says he was born on June 4, 1978. However, when you click on the referenced link it says the page has expired.
