Kinda weird that one dude on Gotham called the penguin a fruitcake. Didn't realize his character had come out. Seems a bit of a personal attack on his flamboincy and preferance.
I watched that episode, and told my hubby, I told you so. I called it the first episode of Gotham. Us fruits stand together like some kind of fruit stand. ;) LOL

A 'fruitcake' is someone who is eccentric or mad. It's not used to refer to them as gay.
He hasn't said who his husband is as he doesn't really discuss his private life in interviews from what I've seen or read. The only thing he has revealed is that they've been together for over a decade and married for a few years and have no kids.
