I think it's a big call to say that anyone 'should' have been Daisy. Teresa is beautiful and not a bad actress, but Carey Mulligan has shone in everything she has done previously, perhaps it was the fault of direction or the expectation and difficulty that came with anyone playing that role. I think if Teresa had done it she may have come under just as much fire.
