It's some "hip" "new" type of film, where people sit around and talk. Yeah, that's the distinguishing factor between it and.. oh, wait, there's always been films where people just sit around talk about the trivialities of life! But, hey, let's give it a name...
that being said, the films are usually pretty neat.

About 90 minutes of some jagoff filmmaker like Joe Swanberg who thinks he is so hip and cool that we give a damn about seeing someone like Greta Gerwig's bush every 30 minutes and his small lil' wang every 20 LOL. Basically its someone who couldn't hire a writer or script supervisor but REALLY wanted to make a movie.
