Exceptional in The House of the Devil

You can sometimes tell how good someone is as an actor by their performance in generic roles. With her limited screen time in The House of the Devil, Greta did a great job as the lead's friend. In lesser hands, it would have been forgotten five minutes after the movie ended.

Totally agree, she was so good in this with the little she had that I can't wait to see her in a larger part. Critics say that she is heartbreaking in Greenberg!

she's HILAR in this movie! i love how she eats that jelly bean or whatever the hell it was, and then spits it out and takes another one. LOL

shut the *beep* up

She was a very realistic character, too

She was so fresh, natural, pretty :)

Agreed! She's fantastic in this, which is a really odd comment to make about a small supporting role in a horror film. She's very memorable and so good at making mundane actions really entertaining and believable. She's completely different in Greenberg- just transforms 100% which is so impressive to me. I really hope she starts getting bigger and better roles in bigger films. She's definately an actress to look out for.

I'm so glad other people agree with me - I loved her in HOTD. She got my attention straight-away and yes, whilst she's pretty; she's also very talented as she made that character come to life in such a short space of time. Haven't seen Greenberg but hope to see it soon.

(spoiler)
I came on here to post the same thing. She's the best thing in HOTD. I'm watching it right now and I was SO BUMMED when she was abruptly killed. And I didn't even recognize her from Greenberg.

Agreed. 18-fold.
